Black Gold: A Film about Coffee and Trade
Part of the 2009 KSU Season for Nonviolence
Thursday, March 26 at 7 PM, Hemisphere Room, Hale Library
Follow Tadesse Meskela, General Manager of the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union in Ethiopia,as he searches for a fair trade market for over 74,000 coffee farmers in the cooperative.
Summer Lewis, K-State graduate and former Equal Exchange (fair trade coffee, tea, and chocolate worker-owned cooperative) employee will introduce the film.
Fair trade tea and chocolate will be served!
